Vintage Earring Clip

My refrigerator is covered with notes about school, newspaper clippings, party invitations, appointment reminders and drawings by Hannah.  To keep everything organized and to make school letters and appointment reminders look a little more "pretty", I made magnetic paper clips out of vintage earrings.

Here are the supplies I used:
earrings
a magnet (be sure to get one strong enough to hold the weight of the earring and the clip),
glue (I used jewelry/metal glue),
and clips.
Remove the back of the earring.  Be sure to sand off the sharp edges after cutting the metal.
Put glue on the back of the magnet and spread it around with a toothpick.

Press the clip into the glue on the magnet and let dry.

Once the glue is dry, put glue on the back side of the earring and press the earring onto the clip.

Let dry.
Once dry, it's ready to use.

This project took about 15 minutes from start to finish and that included the drying time for the glue!
