Cute New Craft

My daughter is loving a new craft she got today when my parents took her to Michael's Craft Store.  It's a Rainbow Loom.

 The loom has rows of pegs where you attach little rubber bands.

There are great color photo instructions  that show just how the rubber bands need to be placed.

Then you use a little crochet hook to pick up one rubber band and pass it onto another peg - tying the rubber bands together.  Again, the color photo instructions are great in showing just what to do.

The ends are attached with a little 'C' clip and then you have a cute little bracelet.

In just a matter of minutes, my daughter had created an armful of bracelets!  For those of you who have a need for preteen birthday gifts - put this on your list!
