Upcycled Croquet Posts

I'm always looking for creative ways to upcycle things into new and useful items.  Today, while sitting in a waiting room for an appointment, I saw a coat rack hanging on the wall that I absolutely loved!

The picture doesn't do it justice......the posts are croquet pegs screwed into a piece of wood.  It got me thinking of all the other things that could be made into a coat rack.....old door knobs, railroad spikes, baseball bats, horse shoes, driftwood, just to name a few.  I may have to keep my eyes open for an old croquet set!
