Children's Art Contest

Attention all young artists!  I wanted to share the information about a contest that my daughter is entering.  Google is having a "Doodle 4" contest.  The theme this year is "My best day ever..."  The gist of the contest is that your child needs to take the word "Google" and incorporate it into the theme or really incorporate the theme into the word "Google".  A 50 word supporting statement by the child is also required.  Children from grades K thru 12 are eligible.

First prize is a $30,000 college scholarship and a $50,000 technology grant for the school your child currently attends.  One state finalist in each age group will be chosen so all 50 states are represented.  From those 250 finalists, 50 state winners are chosen.  From the 50 state winners, 5 national finalists are chosen.   From the 5 national finalist, 1 overall winner is chosen.

Here's the link for the Google template, official entry form and all contest rules and information:

My daughter has already started her doodling.  The deadline is March 22, 2013!
