My daughter has a little friend who was diagnosed with influenza B about a week ago, then she was diagnosed with a double ear infection and strep throat. Her mom has kept us all posted on her recovery via Facebook. My daughter and I felt like we should do something special for her friend.
We decided to put together a little care package. Off to Walmart we went and filled our cart with goodies. We started with a purple plastic container and a little fluffy throw. To that we added orange juice and Lysol cleaner (thought her mom would like that).
Next we tucked in tissue, hot chocolate and chicken noodle soup.
We also added hard candies, Goldfish crackers, some Lindt truffles (her friend's favorite), ChapStick and a fuzzy teddy bear.
Lastly, we added a few magazines.
