Sock Bun

My daughter loves to do different things with her hair.  Every day she comes down the stairs ready for school with a new hair style.  This morning was no different.  She came down with a cute bun on the top of her head.  She called it a "sock bun". 

Here are the materials and steps needed to create this cute look.  You'll need a long, clean sock, pony tail holders, bobby pins, a brush and a scissors.

Cut the toe portion off of the end of the sock.

Start at the top of the sock and roll it into a donut shape.

Put your hair into a pony tail.

Slip the rolled sock onto the pony tail.

Spread the hair around the pony tail/rolled sock.

Sweep the hair around the sock.

Fasten with a pony tail holder.

Fasten stray hairs with bobby pins and wa-la!  A sock bun!
