We had conferences last night for our 8th grade son. Besides getting a fabulous report on our son's progress, his Geography teacher showed us a great educational website that he uses in his class. I'm addicted to it and I've gotten everyone in the family hooked too.
The website is called www.yourchildlearns.com. We like the geography puzzles. You can do puzzles on the United States, the world, Europe, world monuments, land formations and so on. You can time yourself and compete against others.
This website also has many other educational games including math and learning to read games. You can also build towns, farms and castles. It includes humanities projects and current events ("where did it happen"). Every time I go onto this site I find something new. Check it out for yourself!
