Rhubarb Dessert

I had a little leftover rhubarb from the raspberry rhubarb jam I made this past weekend, so I decided to make a rhubarb dessert.  It's a dessert that takes very few ingredients, takes only a few minutes to prepare and about an hour to cook.

The ingredients you need are a yellow cake mix, heavy whipping cream, white sugar and rhubarb.
Prepare the yellow cake mix as directed.
Pour the cake mix in a greased 9 x 11 cake pan.
Over the cake mix, sprinkle on the rhubarb - covering the cake in a single layer.  It will take about 2 cups of rhubarb.
Next, sprinkle 1 cup of sugar over the rhubarb.

Pour 1 cup of heavy whipping cream over the cake.

Bake for about an hour in a 350 degree oven - until the cake turns golden brown.
It's a favorite of my oldest teenage son.  This is one of many servings he had tonight!
